Barbara FITNESS Obituary
Barbara died peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Monday, 20th October. She was the dearly loved wife of the late Ray and an amazing mother to Tony. Barbara's warmth, generosity, thoughtfulness, and caring touched so many people. She will be greatly missed by many, but none more than by me, her only child, and the other special people in her life whom she referred to as her children and grandchildren. I am truly privileged to have had such a wonderful mother who was also my devoted and loving friend whose support I could always count on. A private cremation has already been held as per her wishes. Left us on 20 October, 2025. Loved sister-in-law of Judy and the late Leon Fitness, treasured Aunt B to Jeanette, Tracey, Sharon and their families. Her warmth, humour and kindness will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by us all. Our hearts are with Tony and all who knew and loved her.
