Andrew OLIVER Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Andrew Francis Oliver, who went to be with the Lord on July 16th, 2025, at Waikato Hospital, aged 41. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family. Andrew was the dearly loved son of Ken and Deirdre Oliver, and a treasured brother to Daniel, Jared, and Kimberley. Though Andrew lived with complex medical challenges, he faced life with quick wit, determination, unwavering faith, and a deep joy for life. He defied every expectation, living 41 remarkable years that overflowed with meaning, love, and grace. We will deeply miss his passion for all things farming, tankers, fire engines, and his love of daily routines - a rhythm of life that brought him both comfort and delight. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Andrew's carers and friends at Kowhai House, who supported him with love, respect, and dedication.

We take comfort in the words of Psalm 23:
"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

We know that Andrew now rests in green pastures and beside still waters, in the eternal peace of his Shepherd. A service to celebrate Andrew's life will be held at the Salvation Army Hamilton City Corps, 99 London Street, Hamilton, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1.00pm.

Rest peacefully in God's love, dear Andy. You are deeply loved and will be forever missed.
In lieu of flowers, and in honour of Andrew's generous spirit, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Andy's Kowhai House - a home and vision he helped build, dedicated to serving people with disabilities so they may live happy, whole, and joyful lives.
