It has been such an honour and privilege to know Andrew, I never stopped admiring his morning ritual when dropping Jesse and Sammie into the centre. Andrew and the boys would sit and read a book, as other children would join in. I too recall the many conversations that were had with staff and the very precious times he shared what God had put on his heart. Before Andrew left he would always pray for the boys and say "you're my favourite Sammie and you're my favoutire Jesse" these loving sentiments are fondly remembered.
I spent the past weekend camping at Arapuni and I thought of Andrew often. I regret that I did not spend more time sharing stories about his favourite spots as I too love the Waikato and its many hidden gems. We miss you dearly Andrew.
"Whatungarongaro te tangata, toitu te whenua" I share this whakatauaki with you as your love and enjoyment of special local places such as Arapuni and Waotu lives on. Arohanui Raewyn

I was saddened to hear of Andrews passing. I worked with Andrew for some years at Waikato Hospital and in earlier times attended youth group activities with Andrew at Gateway Church in Hamilton. Andrew was always a kind, gracious and thoughtful guy. My thoughts are with his young boys and wife. Taken too soon. Rest In Peace, Andrew.
