Andrew Flintoff. I can't believe you are suddenly and tragically gone. Far too young. Pete has fond memories of the good times he had together with you and your family in his childhood and I from when I joined you all in our late twenties. You and your family where a big part of making me feel settled in nz. my heart goes out to mum and dad John and Faye, brother "Chubby", sisters Kate and Wendy, your fiancee and children, nieces and nephews, brother and sister in laws and close friends.

Pete often commented when they were working together what an amazing stockman Andrew was...I remember being blown away when I witnessed it myself by the patience he had loading my daft mare grace when I was bringing her home from your place. absolutely everyone else including me was completely over it and Andrew was still smiling and just taking the time that it took. I'm sure he would have let it take all day without getting cross if we hadn't manhandled her on!

Flintoff family, I wish I could be with you on Monday to farewell Andrew. I regret it is so long since we visited you all on the family farm. sending you all my love liz quarrie
