Thoughts with you all. Michael was in the wards with us when we were young nurses during the late 70´s.
Then Andrea was amuck respected nursing tutor. And always such a display of friendship when we met up.

Tena koe Colleen,
It is with deepest respect that I acknowledge Andrea. I was truly saddened to receive your email about her passing and want you to know that I am holding you in my thoughts today. Andrea was an extraordinary woman, so respected, and a remarkable nursing tutor and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to nurturing student nurses left a lasting impression. She lived by strong values and carried them with grace and humility. It was both a privilege and an honour to learn alongside her and journey together as colleagues. Colleen, I know Andrea´s passing will leave a deep sadness for you. May you find comfort in knowing that her teachings continue to live on, reflected in the care, compassion, and professionalism of the many nurses she guided. Her influence is present still, wherever those nurses practise. E moe, e te whaea. Haere atu ra ki te ringa ringa o te atua me te urupa o tou mama me nga tupuna. Haere atu ra e te whaea. Nga mihi,

I met Andrea while studying at WITT in New Plymouth. A highly educated and sincere person who seemed to give her all to those she loved and everything she believed in. My condolences to her family at this sad time.
