It is with great saddness that we hear of the passing of Alex, Alex and Roberta and family have been long time friends, way back in the early day of the Waikato caravan club. Many hours of good humour and socialising. Our condolences to Roberta and family at this time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Alex Pool. Alex and his family have been lifelong friends-Roberta, Shona, Tracey, and Janeen were like extended family to me. We grew up together in the Caravan Club, sharing countless holidays, laughs, and memories that I will always cherish.

Alex was kind, loyal, and always full of good humour. His presence made every gathering brighter, and his friendship meant the world to all of us. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
