Gently passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, 6 February 2016, at Hospice Waikato, Hamilton. Loving and supportive husband of Jenny. Father and father-in-law to Deborah and Nick, Peter and Phoebe. Adored son of Daphne and Alex. Brother and brother-in-law to Derek and Cath, Gerald and Marama. To celebrate Alex's life, a service will be held at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday, 13 February 2016 at the Claudelands Event Centre, Heaphy Terrace, Hamilton (entrance through Gate 8). In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Hospice Waikato, which may be left at the service.
