Alan STOREY Obituary
Died peacefully on May 28, 2016. Loved husband of Maria, adored father and father-in-law of Rachael and Richard, Alana and Philip, Peter and Jo, admired brother of John, Rob and the late Charlie, and perfect Poppa to Isi, Ella, Luke, Rio and Mieka, brother-in-law of Lynda. A journalist, farmer, baker and business owner. A man whose talents were many, whose intellect was considerable, and whose generosity and love for his family was endless. A funeral service will be held for Alan at St Aidan's Anglican Church, corner of Ascot Ave and Remuera Rd at 1.30pm on Wednesday June 1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Motutapu Ward, Haematology Trust Fund, Private Bag 92024, Auckland Mail Centre 1030. Communications to the Storey family c/- P.O. Box 56013. Our deepest sympathy to Maria and her immediate and wider family on their loss. Alan was a long-time friend and held in high regard for his loyalty, compassion, comradeship and good humour. He will be fondly remembered by many particularly his old mates from the class of 54 at King's College.
