Alan MITCHELL Obituary

Alan you were my pool buddy ,my confident, my friend when I came to Tamahere, you made my time in Tamahere enjoyable even tho you had one L in your Alan.

I had intended to be at the funeral service for Alan today. Unfortunately I had a bad attack of BPPV (vertigo) overnight and I thought it unwise to drive my car to Tamihere. I first played golf with Pam and Alan when I was a member of Park International Country Club from April 1993 to March 2005. We both shifted to Ngaruawahia in April 2005, when the ownership of P.I.C.C. changed hands. We have since played there until now. We occasionally accompanied each other to various courses around the Waikato to play in Waikato Veteran Golfers' Tournaments, particularly while the Mitchells lived at Kingsford Mews, and by and large we enjoyed each other's company. My sincere condolences to all of your family.

We did not see one another often, but when we did a good glass of wine, lovely food, reminiscing about the. " Dwight´s", and tons of laughter was shared.
Go and make merry with Pam,and take your golf clubs with you.
