Alan FAIRWEATHER Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Thursday 1st May 2025, aged 90 years. Much loved husband, brother, father, grandfather and mentor to a great many young people during his long, adventurous life. Thanks to the staff at Tamahere Eventide for their love and care. A celebration of Alan's life will be held at Woolertons Funeral Home Chapel, 8 Railside Place, Dinsdale, Hamilton on Friday 9th May at 10.00am. Donations in lieu of flowers to Hato Hone St John or Osteoporosis NZ would be appreciated and can be left at the service. All correspondence to the Fairweather family C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3204.

To Wendy and family, I was very sorry to learn of Alan's passing. He was very good company at Claudelands Bowls where he was a good supporter. I recall a very good chat about Cricketers who played for South Africa while representing the then Rhodesia before the formation of Zimbabwe. Rest in Peace Alan after a life well lived
