Alan BATEY Obituary
Son of Fred & Kath Batey. Much loved husband of Janet (Jan). Loved father of Caroline, Philip (dec), Margaret, Marion and Irene, and father-in-law of Mark, Leanne and Matthew. Grandfather of Clavin, Helen, Mathew, Jason, Daniel, Samantha, Sean, Amelia, Dylan, Kirsty, Luke, Mary and Marshall. Great-grandfather of Jono, Renee, Raeillin, Ashton, Roman, Hazel, Flyn, Harry, Sofia, Ava, Lochie, Noah, Addison. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Alan at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 59 Pine Avenue, Melville, Hamilton on Saturday, the 22nd of November 2025, at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Te Aroha Cemetery. Hi everyone
Janet has just told me of Alan's passing, I have fond memories of family times at Auntie Kathy place in te aroha and getting alan and Lenard mixed up because they looked so a like, well they are together again along with my parents, probably enjoying a cuppa on the veranda, love to you all....ruby paynter (nee Cambridge)
