With the passing of this beautiful lady, there is a multitude of loving memories. Each Friday Merele would pickup Mum Belk and my self and would have our big day out. Frankton was our big shopping day lol. Then Merle moved to Tapu and we would go across and go fishing. When we finished I would ring Merle and ask if the Tapu soup kitchen was open then I would make a booking for four.Kev, myself, Sharon Trutsch, and Kathrine Trutsch. On arriving there Merle would always have a ful meal waiting.Kev would go and talk to Russ about the catch of the day and Merle and I would go for a walk in the garden where she would have her sneeky smoke, Russ would wink when we came back in and say"i am not bloody stupid" lol.How Merle thought Russ couldnt smell it. As he didnt smoke then. Then the table was cleared and out came the cards, Merle was master at Malice and spite.I dont think I ever won a game. lol.Merle will be sadly missed by all that new her, her zest for life and her love for gardens. Merle could tell you each plant that was there.Kev and I have lost a great friend and sister inlaw and Merle will be sadly missed by all that knew her.Love Kevin and Sandy.
