Tania and the Knapp Family

I heard from Robbie and Lizzie of Mary's passing. What a gap she will leave in your family and the golfing family in general. What a tremendous worker she has been for Ngaruawahia and Waikato Golf. She always made people very welcome. She will be sadly missed.

Aunty Mary, for someone who had lost the use of her legs for a period of time in life, you bounced back and proved that there is never a need to give up. Your strength and positivity, love for everyone and that powerful desire to cook for anyone, will always be remembered. Heaven just gained a beautiful soul. Rest in Peace Aunty Mary, love you always. To Uncle Henry, Wayne, Tania & families, our love to you all.

Dear Henry, Tania & Wayne
We were very sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was our nanny housekeeper way back in the 60s when we lived in Otorohanga. Mum (Dorren) had Dorreena Gowns and Mary also worked for Dad (Chum) in the drycleaners, she lived and worked with our family for years. We only saw each other spasmodically but always remembered her smiling face and the times we had together. Mary played golf with our cousin John King at times and also had the odd round with my brother Michael. We have only just heard of Mary's passing and are so sorry to have missed her funeral. You will be sadly missed Mary.
All our love to the Knapp families.

To Henry, Tania, Wayne and family, sending you all my love after the passing of Mary. She was a cool lady that looked after us Waikato Golf Girls especially when we had to try on those special red pants. She was an awesome lady with a kind heart and I will always remember her bright smile. Lots of love.
