DOWNIE, Madge:
Reg No: 4219, Leading Aircraftwomen, WAAF, WW2, R.N.Z.A.F. Passed away at Windemere Rest Home, Cambridge, in her 95th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Stewart Victor Downie. Loved mother of Warren (Tauranga), Andrea Freeman (Perth, Australia), son-in-law David and loved Nana of Connor (Christchurch). Loved sister of the late David Stanley Hogg and Constance May Sheeran, Bonne Pelikan (Tokoroa). Much loved Aunty of Judith and Gary Steel (Kihikihi, Te Awamutu). At Madge's request a private cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Madge's life will be held at Windermere Rest Home, Cambridge, on Friday, 28th July 2017, at 11.00am. All communications to the Downie Family, c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434.
