Cocksy. Our lives intersected at various points. Firstly at primary school (there was no finer reciter of poems in a Pam Ayres stylee!). Then in Thames where we played footy together (not always great, but always enthusiastic!). Next some years later when I found you in your car, having driven off the road in Hikuai (shaken not broken!). Then finally when you ended up in Tairua, where my parents had moved to and both you and my dad were fighting health battles you could not ultimately win. You were a great, positive man, and I was so sad to hear of your passing. Heartfelt condolences to your family. R.I.P. Mate.
