Wendy you were always so full of vitality, enthusiasm and a great friend....one in a million who will be sadly missed. Thanks for the memories especially those from our childhood....your visits to Nana, Poppa & AG (Reimers Ave) and those wonderful productions you choreographed with the Tuohey girls next door being the entire supporting cast! The rehearsals etc were great fun. We really did have a great time. Oh for the good old days. The time I spent with you all up at the farm and swimming with you, Lindsay and friends in the creek was great too. Till we meet again....Margaret Talbot [nee Tuohey], London

Anyone associated with the London New Zealand Rugby Club over the past 40 years or more will be greatly saddened to hear of Wendy's death. She was a driving force behind LNZ and without her efforts it is likely the club would not still be around. I had the pleasure of being at LNZ during its heyday at Aorangi Park in the mid-1970s. Then to meet up with Wendy at a reunion in Auckland last year was a true pleasure.
